Tabbed Mode and Tree Mode Browsing

Tabbed mode is a traditional mode to layout web pages one after another. For example, page A pops three pages(A.1, A.2, A.3), then A.1, A.2, A.3 will be shown as three sibling pages just after page A. Moreover, if page A.2 pops four pages(A.2.1, A.2.2, A.2.3, A.2.4), then these four pages will be shown as four sibling pages just after page A.3. As a result, you are now browsing 8 pages in a plane.

Tree mode is our original mode to layout the opening web pages just as a tree branches from its trunk. For example, page A pops three pages(A.1, A.2, A.3), then A.1, A.2, A.3 will be shown as three daughter pages just under page A. Moreover, if page A.2 pops four pages(A.2.1, A.2.2, A.2.3, A.2.4), then these four pages will be shown as four daughter pages just under page A.2. As a result, you are now browsing 8 pages in a tree.

Following is a simple example to explain about tabbed mode and tree mode browsing:

Internet Explorer = simple = browsing 1 webpage per window
Mozilla Firefox = tabbed = browsing 10+ webpages per window
